I bought several Zvezda models in 1/100 scale to try and keep my boys away from my Flames of War miniatures (I know, wishful thinking). The Panther comes on two sprue trees and was free of flash. Overall, the detail is fair, but not very pronounced when compared to Battlefront Miniatures. This particular rendition does not have the Zimmerit coating. They did design it in such a way that the barrel elevation can be changed. In several pictures I compared the tread and an overview of the Panther to a Battlefront tiger and you can see what I mean. One other aspect that is a bit disappointing is the lack of accessories such as fuel cans and extra tread. The snap together feature is really kind of nice and allows you to put them together in just a few minutes and it went together fairly easily. The cost is about half of what the Battlefront models cost unless you are buying a starter set, and even then, only a few of the most common tanks come in those sets. So, if your goal is operation Barbarossa with lots of armor for your Blitzkrieg then these models may be the way to go. If you are building dioramas and your goal is ultra-detailing then the Battlefront Miniatures would probably be a better bet.

"Great. Awesome tank"

Zvezda so no decals but a great set. There are a few issues like the side skirts going together where some filling and maybe putty to fill lines comes into play. Ended up using glue to fix many of the gaps that develop. I am satisfied with this model
