This kit was a joy to build. I had no fit issues with major assemblies, the underside being a bit tricky to line up but not impossible to get right. In all, the parts fit well and I only needed a few small applications of Mr. Surfacer in some joints to get things smooth. I was super intimidated by the massive amount of wheels in this kit which is why I let it sit in the closet so long. Bright side is that with punch set you can make some easy wheel masks to make painting them a snap. You will need a LOT of white paint. I opted for spray paint on this one instead of airbrushing it. The blue for the bottom... in other builds it looks too blue to me, and in pictures its more pale, so I opted to go that route. The interior is nicely detailed - but unless you build the nose open, ramp down version you wont see it. I ended up using small magnets to hold the nose on, not glue the folded ramp in place, so that I could show off that massive interior. The Engines have nice detail/decals and look great slung under those massive wings. Once finished it will take a fair bit of space up - so I opted to hang mine on the wall next to a 747-8f I built-same scale. The 225 is larger but not by much, which is interesting. The price is the only real con - and this is on Revell. for what they are asking, it should at least have something to include inside, or a small PE fret for the pitot tubes, antenna and air data sensors. But at least this one has wheels!
Not something to give a first timer, but with a few under the belt its easy to manage.
