"Fell apart"

I have used bunch of code 100 as well as this code 83 flex track without any problem whatsoever but this piece, which I bought as a single, just flat out refused to be part of the program. When the track was flexed one of the rails just popped right off the ties and would not be go back where it belonged despite my efforts. This piece must have been the bad apple of the barrel. I have not had trouble with the other 83 flex track which have since used. I really should have returned it but covid and all that. C'est la vie.

"Good track"

I bought this track to build a modular layout. I don't need concrete ties but by the time I paint and weather the track and add ballast, no one will know. It is well made with good dimensions. The Code 83 rail looks nice as it is not so oversized. I prefer the Code 70 but it is getting more difficult to find. Be aware that some large flanges wheels will hit the time plates, but most modern equipment should work well.
