"D & E Model Rocket Motor Mount Kit, but...."

The kit is fine for standard (Black Powder) BP 24mm D Motors, but with BP 24mm E motors on up, you must use 2 engine blocks and epoxy only, no white wood glue. Build up fillets, with epoxy, when installing in rocket. The engine clip is the weak point and I would use a threaded 24mm Estes engine retainer.

I love engine mount kits because they have all of the parts that I need, no searching the bottom of my builderâ€™s box. Be patient, make good glue fillets let the glue dry overnight and your reward will be a light weight and strong engine mount
