Old Motorized kit
By: srpullen10
It's a old motorized kit. Just an average kit to me. Low piece count. Don't get me wrong it can be a great looking kit if you put the time and a few extras into it. First academy kit. I got this kit from a friend that bought it from here. I've got a account here. So I thought I would give my opinion on it. I had a small problem with the gun. It doesn't wanna sit straight but nothing that can't be fixed. With a little time and a few extras it could be a nice kit. I think it only had three spruces so very low piece count. I would recommend for a beginner or someone that wanted to try new things. It has a great price
Another Great Academy Kit
Academy Models have been in my collection for many years and this is no stranger to my German armor series. First the Tamiya model came out and then the Academy version which to my knowledge is a buy off of the Tamiya molds as everything looks identical and could be interchanged. I build the kit with no difficulties and painted and weathered it in my usual manner
Not the best kit

I am a fan of the stug 4 but this kit wasn't that good. The molds were not aligned on the road wheel spur. Some pieces did not fit right. So had to modify several pieces so they fit correctly. There is also a ton of injection pin makers. Overall I had to sand and fill almost all parts.
A Learning Experience for the Germans and Me

This Stug. my second model was good for me. I learned a lot on this relatively simple model. It is inexpensive, thus good for beginners. And it looks good in the background. An experienced modeler could up grade this inexpensive model to a fantastic AFV Rifle
