This kit was a joy to assemble in the early stages. Toward the end of the build, problems started. First, the front bumper/grill casting, which is so deep, the installation as directed, holds it at least an 1/8 away from the body, which is supposed to be a snug fit with the headlight buckets. My modifications were just barely acceptable to me.
Also, the windshield and backglass were a problem. I had to tape them in place until the glue cured. And don't get me started on the side vent windows, which are loose parts, and a real pain-in-the-neck.
This was a disappointing kit for me, and I would recommend that new modelers hold off... at least while they're cutting their teeth on a few easier subjects. The only thing I can think of to help them correct the front clip is to remove the radiator! Perhaps Moebius would have been better off with a curbside, and THEY could have removed the radiator! I have to ask, why is it that ugly design flaws never seem to happen where they can't be seen?!
