This is a high quality olive drab paint that is handy when painting the suits of pilots, figures, seats, etc. Very useful product for cockpits of aircraft. It's usually the base color of modern fighter pilot suits.

"Darn good drab"

Just about essential if you ever plan on building any military model. It does come out a little darker than expected, but it still looks nice. The smaller pots aren’t as good of a value as the ¾ oz., but they are still worth it if you’re not planning on using it a lot (which honestly you probably will use it a lot). Its consistency is a bit on the thick side, but thins well with water (though Tamiya also makes an acrylic thinner that is better), and if you thin it to 5-6 parts paint to 1 part water it will give a very nice brushstroke free look in 3-4 coats. Although, I have just used it straight out of the pot or with only a very little water, and I got fairly good results. Very good paint.

Tamiya paint has the high reputation that it deserves. Can’t wait to get started.

"Seems to have a bit more of a brownish shade, but still a good quality paint"

I love Tamiya acrylics, but I find their names to be less-than-accurate sometimes. It could just be me, though. In this case, I feel that olive drab should have a little bit more of a greenish shade to it, as this seems a bit too brown. Regardless, you can easily adjust the shade of Tamiya acrylics and this is no different.
