Very nice transparent black, color does darken with multiple coats. Thinning is simple for airbrush use, I recommend 2 parts paint to 1 part thinner. also the use of a silver or chrome under will make this even better

"Perfect On Clear Parts And Chrome!!!"

There's nothing better for tinting windows, and creating the effect of smoked or black chrome rims etc. Just like the other clear Tamiya paints there is absolutely no need to bother thinning these paints if you're using a brush to apply the paint.

This is another one of my favorite Tamiya paints. X19 smoke is great for tinting clear parts. A couple of tips for using this product, make sure it is always mixed well. Add a little X20 Thinner for brush painting, and use a dedicated brush for application. Add nice thin coats of this paint, allowing each to dry before adding the next. Build the coats of X19 Smoke up to get the desired effect. This works well for tinting windows on cars, and if you build planes, remember some of those windows are tinted. I have also used this for model railroad passenger car windows as well.
