"12.8cm Sturer Emil"

The Sturer Emil 1/72 kit by Trumpeter is a very easy and fun kit to build. The parts are molded very sharp with almost no flash, as fit together nicely. This kit comes with 2 painting options and decals to fit the tank, including kill rings for the barrel. Overall, this it is a great buy and the builder is advised to leave the fighting compartment and hull separate in order for the small details to be painted in the interior. Definitely a nice tank to add to your collection.

"Excellent Rare kit"

Trumpeter does an excellent job creating models of unique tanks. Only two prototypes were built, one being captured in '43 and displayed in Moscow tank museum ( Kubinka Tank Museum) . It was based on the Henschel VK30.01 chassis and armed with a Rheinmetall 12.8 cm K40 L/61 gun (based on the 12.8 cm FlaK 40). I found the kit easy to build and very detailed, I plan to get a second kit to convert into a recovery vehicle. The order of build around the gun and superstructure I think could be better, but it goes together well. watch for barrel and breech alignment!
