"Great kit, fine detailing"

I was thrilled to see Trumpeter release the kits of the Royal Navy's older-school battleships such as the 'Valiant'. This kit depicts her as she appears following a refit, circa 1939. The superstructure & bridge are more solid and easy to assemble: her main guns and secondary guns were also fairly straightforward to put together and mount. The 2 aircraft cranes were a bit harder to assemble as they came in 4 pieces and it was harder to attach the hooks. Still, the result is a fine-looking ship. Very happy with the result.
