H21C Shawnee Banana Gunship Helicopter

This is one of my all time favorite helicopters; ever. The H-21 got the Air Mobile Campaign started in Vietnam. It along with the iconic H-34 were the back bone of this war changing approach. The kit is very well made. There were just enough detailed assemblies to make it interesting. This is my second build of this bird and much better than the first. The decals were sufficient and were easy to apply (as should be). The choices of versions were nice to have. I ended up with an extra stand mounted shielded 50 cal with ammo box and ammo belt. I would recommend this kit to mainly experienced builders but really anyone that knows of the H-21. I tried to get mine finished to match one of the birds my father flew in Vietnam in 1963. The Flying Banana was a real hero of the air war from many moons gone bye. But Never Forgotten. Thank You !
