Not Bad in a Pinch But There Are Better Options
Purchased to open the nail or screw indents on the bottom side of Kato Unitrack for mounting. The pin vise body is metal and fairly well constructed. While it has 2 reversible collets and 4 collet sizes, it is uncomfortable to tighten and have not found one combination that secures the included bit sufficiently without slippage. Fortunately, the vise and included bit was able to open the holes. At the current price, would suggest reviewing alternatives.
Not as good as expected
I am reluctant to give poor reviews for any hobby products. Having said that I had hoped this pin vice would be better. The collet does not seem to hold any small drill bits tight enough to be able to drill. Its OK if you are drilling through foam, thin styrene or cork but through plywood forget it. Maybe I will find a useful use for it in the future.
