"This paint leaves a GREAT finish"
Shane S. (Dallas, Tx)
Ok so i've been using Model Master acrylics more lately over their Enamel offerings and i've been VERY pleased with the results. The Gunmetal paint has been more of the same. This paint goes on smooth, leaves a nice even finish with very minimal brush lines (a moot point if airbrushing) and drives very fast. I do recommend using a primer as their acrylics sometimes don't stick very well to bare plastic or resin. But I recently used this gunmetal finish on my 1/426 Revell Arizona and my 1/72 Academy Super Etendard and it's looked GREAT. I'd recommend using acrylics over enamels for the beginner modeler due to the water clean up and faster drying. But i'd recomend this for anybody, beginner to advanced. I consider myself to have intermediate skill and I love this stuff. I'll slowly be switching out my enamels to acrylics as I use them up.

Good paint, but I have found that after some bottles are opened they don't separate and become thick and clumpy.
