"Great medium fine primer mist"

This gives a much finer texture for the paint to adhere to. I tried some cheap hardware store rattle can primer since it was a bigger sized prop and it was quite grainy and I had to sand it back down. This was perfect, it has a tiny bit of tooth, but I see they make a finer spray if you need that too. My only complaint, I wish they had it in a big hardware store size can. It's primer, you use it on everything.

"Top Choice Primer"

Building models for many years I have used many primers. Some good some not so good. Tamiya surface primer is by far the best primer I have used. The qualities of the primer include great surface coverage, fast dry time and ease of sanding. The primer will definitely show inaccuracies quickly once it is allowed to dry. Fixing these problems is a snap with how easily the primer sands. A top choice of primers to keep on hand.

"Excellent product!"

I've been building models for over 45 years, and Tamiya primers have become my favorite as far as spray can primers are concerned. The Surface Primer and Fine Surface Primer cover well, spray on smooth, dry quickly, and sand like butter. Most importantly, the long term topcoat holdout is excellent. I've used these primers over all kinds of styrene and never had any issues with it attacking the material. I've used other brands that might have had slightly better filling properties, but its worth using a couple extra coats with the Tamiya products because they perform so well overall.

This is simply the best primer you can buy. It does everything well. Sprays on smoothly. It is easy to sand. Takes color coat better than any other I've tried. I use it on all my plastic car models. Some paints have problems adhering without issue to styrene plastic. Once you prime your parts with this, all the problems go away. Thank you Hobbylinc.
