"definitely a challenge!"

Just finished with this kit I liked it but there was a lot of flash on a lot of the parts. and even though the parts were numbered on the trees they didn't match with the directions! It would seem if you number the trees as separate parts like 1 thru 100 you would do the same on the directions! but still i enjoyed building this! and I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my first Lindberg Plastic model kit and it is a great value. Three complete kits for less than $40?! Whats not to like about it? However, buyer be informed about the following issues. Upon opening the box I knew it is somewhat different than other kits I have built. There was LOTS of parts and pieces. I also noticed the plastic moulding is bad. I wore out 2-3 blades on my knife just cutting out the parts. Yet, with enthusiasm I jumped right in. I started with the '40 Ford. It is a basic 4 wheel car which I felt very confident about. I must say it went well. It comes with optional parts but the instructions do not show where they go. Its not that hard to figure it out. The fender piece was twisted slightly but with clothes pins and adhesive, it was a simple fix. Other than some wheels from donor kit it is straight out of the box I will write a review about the next piece when its complete. Thanks for reading.

"A Little Strange :)"

I remember these trucks from my childhood, I always thought they were a little bit strange. The model itself was a great purchase and was real fun to make it my own with color theme etc. The truck was not what I would say was difficult, but did need some attention to the details. The trailer was actually used to fab a totally different lowboy trailer for another Semi. Perfect bones to do such. The car was another story as I'm more into Big Rigs and just cars that I actually had throughout my life. My son (26 years old) is building the car. Again, great buys from HOBBYLINC!
