"1/35th Household Crockery & Glass Set"
nspock
This is a another of MiniArt's impressive range diorama accessories. The title says it all: household crockery & glass. There's two kinds of wine glasses, coffee pot, teapot, plates, serving trays, mugs, pitchers, cups & saucers and various sized bottles and decanters. The set comes molded in white, clear and brown and green clear plastic, (the glasses and bottles). There's two of the white and clear sets providing enough for an entire household. Molding and crisp sharp, (the handles on the coffee pot and teapot particularly well done) There are some small air bubbles in clear plastic bottles chiefly due to the small size of the bottles and round shape I suspect. This doesn't faze me as I intend to drill into the bottom of the bottles, adding a speck of paint to suggest liquid inside. A really neat touch is a small decal sheet. There's red and blue rearing stags and red and blue flowers. These decals are to decorate the mugs and pitchers. There's also a pair of blue rings to add a border around the two serving plates. There's enough decals to use elsewhere, in fact I plan to use some on a old set of Custom Dioramics beer steins I stashed away. There's a lot of possibilities here. Everything would work well in a civilian house or cafe to begin with. The coffee pot and mugs would look good with some GIs at rest, just like the teapot and mugs would fit in well with some Tommies breaking for tea. A bit of imagination could come up with many more uses.
