Classic MPC drawn picture of detail of model on box art. Nice detailed decals protected in sealed bag. Parts are molded white (body), black (frame), all clean, no flash. Chrome plated parts very nice detail, uniform coating. Clear pieces not scratched. All molded, chrome and clear pieces packed separately. Impressed by the rear slicks already having white lettering. Also comes with an open drag chute, brings on possibilities for detailed diorama. Best of all is the price. Worth every penny for a model of this detail.

"Nostalgic funny car"

Yes yet again a really nice detailed model this is my 5 th funny car and can't get enough of them. The kit is very accurate to the original car even though I like to change up the paint schemes .very little prep to do on this one and flash was minimal I would highly recommend this kit many hours of fun . Thinking about ordering another one.

Another top grade kit by MPC. Their building plan sheet is very easy to understand. They make it so very simple to read and follow. I like to change the paint and graphics on these type of cars. It makes it so much more personal.There would be only one item needed for improvement. The 2 small pegs that hold the body onto the rear of the car could have been longer. When with the body is raised, the rear of the body slips off these pegs falls to the rear tires. Other than that, i had a real fun build.

after reading other reviews of this kit I decided to order one for myself. glad I did. this is one of MPC round 2's better effort's. good casting with clear and sharp detail's make's for a good looking build. one piece tubular frame make's for an easier build than the separate piece's that need to be squared up and held in place until glue dries. the 2 opened chutes are also a nice detail. come's with closed chutes too. decal's are clear and true to the real thing. over all a really good representation of the real funny car.
