"Great Nostalgic Classic Monster Kit"

I picked up this kit soon after it was re-released back around 2010 by Polar Lights. It is a repop of one of the original Aurora kits released in 1964 which really makes it a special kit. Considering the date of the original the kit is quite well done with good fit and good moldings. The scene is a classic from the movie and shows the hunchback chained to the pedestal being tortured. While a somewhat simple scene it still does a good job of capturing the movie scene with decent detailing and dynamics. I highly recommend it for plastic model builders who are fans of the classic movies.

This model looks very impressive with Quasimodo's horribly ravaged face and whip-scarred back! The kit itself is a lot of fun to put together with the biggest challenge coming from the ropes and shackles holding the hapless prisoner in place on the wheel. It's always great to have those Glow-in-the-Dark pieces too in case you need extras!
