This Testors Sprue Cutter is an excellent tool for plastic kits, it makes very clean cuts, it only needs a little sanding after cutting. It works perfect with large to medium pieces. I build 1/72 models, and I do not recommend it for the smaller parts of that scale, it will break them, however, you will not regret having bought it.

I read a review of this product on your site and decided to give it a try instead of useing my Exacto knife. It works great Now I dont have to risk cutting my fingers off anymore. If you don't have one, you need one.

The cutter I received seems a bit dull to me. I have quite a few different cutters that I use depending on the sprue attachment and they all do a nice job of cutting through the plastic. This one from Testors does not have as fine an edge. I find it pinches through the plastic more so than cutting. Again, depending on what I am using it for, it is adequate.
