Kit is very difficult to assemble and to then get to work smoothly. I bought it as a gift for my son who is a fairly expert model craftsman. Walthers customer service was very unhelpful. He ended up throwing out this kit and purchasing the fully assembled version of this turntable which works great! Don't waste your money on this kit, unless you don't care if it functions and only want it for a static model.
