Merchant's Row II - Kit - 6-1/4 x 3-1/2''

Assembly of this impressive kit is fairly easy, although there is much painting to do, especially on the windows, which can be quite tedious and not for the inexperienced modeler. I suggest doing 10 or 12 at a time, then take a break. Since the back wall is unseen most of the time, I painted only the window sills and lintels. The clear plastic panels to represent the glass in my kit had mold marks and streaks, and were unsuitable for use on the large store windows, so I used my own clear sheet plastic fastened with double sided Scotch tape. Although, I have now switched to actual glass from microscope slides available from Amazon. There is no interior for the stores, so it is up to your own ingenuity to provide this. Although, signs are furnished for this kit, you might further enhance it with animated signs from Miller Engineering at milleren@microstru.com. All in a all, this makes for an impressive, show piece model. It just takes a bit of patience.
