Ford LTL 900 Semi Tractor

Don’t let the AMT moniker on the packaging fool you. This is an Italeri kit, which means it’s a sweet building kit. I had some issues with the fitment of the hood to the cab, but that’s my fault and I may fix it properly one day. With that said, this kit goes together very well and has a well detailed interior and under hood area. One thing I didn’t like was that the instructions came as one large sheet, like a road map. It would be better suited to a booklet format so it doesn’t get in the way as much. There are many sub assemblies such as the frame, cab, hood, sleeper, and engine so there are lots of parts which will require lots of time and patience. The wheels are probably the best in the business as far as assembly goes. It’s pricey, but the quality is top notch. Have fun!
