Roman Warship 50BC

Not a terribly difficult build; parts fit well, a minimum of filing, body putty, etc. The rigging is a fairly simple scheme; can be a bit challenging if you don't have tools to do fine work. I built a small jig to be able to work pulley assemblies more easily. Some extra rope on sails, steering rudders, deck coils dresses it up very nicely...use thread, not heavy item provided. This is really an exercise in painting...be prepared to spend lots of time on very fine work on boat and shields if you want it to look good. Nice model worth the time and effort.
