"Surprisingly cool build"

I wasn't impressed with what I'd bought after making this purchase. It seemed to be an SPEV to unload a bunch of unused HoJo nose cones and I put all the parts back into the bag and forgot about it for a while. Just before Christmas I got marooned at a satellite office to cover for someone in the Covid quarantine, and took the opened Expedition to help pass the time. I got about half of it finished during that stint, then wound up in the same location for vacation coverage and finished the build. I'm still not a fan of the paint scheme, but I did like how the project turned out. It flew this past Saturday in primer/F&F on an E12-6. Very impressive flight and recovery with no damage despite the hard hit on recovery. Now I wish I'd bought more than one.

"love the look and the build."

this was one of the most fun builds that I have done. It is sturdy goes together well. You have to cut body tubes from templates. It has three fins and flarings but you get body tubes to cut four flarings. You can cut an extra and use your best three. The paper transitions have the usual paper transition issues. It is well designed in how the tubes go together. It ought to give a nice slow lift off. There is warning to check the center of gravity before flight, I have not loaded it up and checked that yet
