Do you have a catalog? We do not print a catalog. All items that we have available are listed online. One of the ways we offer such low prices is to avoid the cost of printing a hard copy catalog. I need my items by tomorrow, can you get them to me? No, all items ship in two to three business days unless specified otherwise. Our goal is not to be the fastest shipper of items but the low price option with the largest selection. I don't see an item that I want, can you get it / special order it for me? All items that we carry are listed online. To provide low prices we buy most items in bulk by contract. This does not allow us to special order one or two individual items from manufacturers. Why are items for sale that are not currently in stock? Most hobby manufacturers announce items that are going to be produced up to 8 months before they actually produce the item. Many times the manufacturers will produce a very low quantity usually not much more than the amount of items that they have 'presold'. In order to ensure that our customers get the items that they want many times it is necessary to pre-order items. Most non-released items are listed online with the expected release date. Additionally, our customers simply want to be the first to receive a new release item. How much is shipping? Currently standard shipping cost is automatically calculated online for U.S.A., and U.S. Territories, orders. International orders are charged the actual cost of shipping once the order has shipped. Has my order shipped / What's my order status? How much does it cost to ship HAZMAT items (rocket engines)? We ship all HAZMAT items via USPS surface mail. There is no HAZMAT fee for shipping items this method. However, USPS is a slower shipping method than UPS, or FedEx. Please allow for two to three additional shipping days when placing your order for these items. Where are you located? We are located in Atlanta Georgia. The online date for an item I'm interested in says unknown. What date will the item be available? The online availability information is updated every day. An unknown date means that the manufacturer is out of stock of the item and does not yet have the item set for another production run. This could mean that the item will arrive in two weeks or 6 months, they have not specified yet. A rule of thumb is if the item is in high demand (i.e. a Tamiya paint which they sell thousands) it should be closer to the two week time frame. If it is a model that has a low sell rate the release will be much longer. The credit card billing address must be supplied for verification, but the order may still be shipped to a different address. Hobbylinc.com uses the highest level of online security encryption to safeguard sensitive information. Credit Card - Pay by Phone VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, and Discover cards are accepted by phone. This is one of our online payment options. This allows you to place your order online, and then call us with your credit card information after the order has been placed. Please follow the instructions online when finalizing your order. The credit card billing address must be supplied for verification, but the order may still be shipped to a different address. PayPal PayPal Express Checkout is available as an online payment option. (Requires you to login to you PayPal account to approve payment). DO NOT EMAIL US A PAYPAL PAYMENT!!! as we will not receive it. You must use the PayPal Express Checkout option through the hobbylinc.com website. PalPal orders must be place online, as you are required to login to your PayPal account (which we cannot do over the phone). PalPal may only be used for in-stock items, since we must charge PayPal immediately for your order. PalPal may only be used for USA orders. We will ship only to a USA address which is provided to us by PayPal. Personal Check Personal Checks are accepted. The order should be placed on our website and the Personal Check payment option should be selected. Checks must be made payable to Hobbylinc.com Be sure to include your order number with the check. Once we receive the check, we will wait a minimum of 7-10 days for the check to clear before processing your order. Please allow for this delay. Money Order Money Orders are accepted. Money Orders must be made payable to Hobbylinc.com. The order should be placed on our website and the Money Order payment option should be selected. Be sure to include your order number with the money order. Once we receive the money order, we will wait a minimum of 5-7 days for the money order to clear before processing your order. We apologize for the delay, but fake money orders do exist. Purchase Orders Purchase Orders are accepted for order orders over $100. The order should be placed on our website and the Purchase Order payment option should be selected. If you already have your Purchase Order Number, you may enter it when asked. Purchase Orders are accepted from businesses, schools, and organized groups (e.g. Cub-Scouts). We do not accept personal Purchase Orders. Be sure to include your order number with the Purchase Order. A signed copy of the Purchase Order must be faxed to Hobbylinc.com (706-654-2518), with the Hobbylinc.com order number written on the Purchase Order. Detailed instructions are provided when ordering online using a Purchase Order. When will your order ship from Hobbylinc? The date your order would be scheduled to ship from the Hobbylinc.com warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia is automatically calculated for you in your Shopping Cart while ordering online. Most orders take 2-3 business days to ship our from the Hobbylinc.com warehouse, once valid payment has been received. The shipment date cannot be sped-up for earlier shipping. We are simply not setup for this. If you need your order to ship our faster, then there are other online vendors who may be able to do this for you. Shipment times are not guaranteed, though Hobbylinc.com ships orders ontime over 97% of the time. Hobbylinc.com strives to provided the largest selection of hobby products at the lowest possible price, while maybe not being the fastest shipper of orders. Mail Service provided by the U.S. Postal Service. Online tracking available, though not very good. Delivery times typically 2-3 days from shipment, though not guaranteed. Cost is automatically calculated when ordering online. Estimated delivery time is calculated online while ordering. UPS Ground Service provided by UPS. Online tracking available. Continental U.S.A. deliveries only. Cost is automatically calculated when ordering online. Estimated delivery time is calculated online while ordering. 3rd Class Gound - HAZMAT Service provided by the U.S. Postal Service. Continental U.S.A. deliveries only. Used for shipping Model Rocket Motors, which are classified as HAZMAT. Online tracking available, though not very good. Shipment is sent ground as HAZMAT materials cannot be flown in an airplane, so delivery can be slower than Priority Mail. Cost is automatically calculated when ordering online. Estimated delivery time is calculated online while ordering. Overnight, 2-Day, 3-Day Expedited Shipping These options are typically not given as an option online, but you may place your order and then request to change the shipping method by sending us an email. Cost CANNOT be determined prior to shipping, and the cost is based on the physical size of the box being shipped, which we do not know ahead of time. You are charged only what UPS charges us for the delivery. We do not make any profit on shipping charges. Not available for order paid for with PayPal, since we do not know the cost of shipping at the time we need to finalize the PayPal payment. Shipments are sent from Atlanta, Georgia. Hobbylinc.com is not responsible for delayed deliveries, and only the shipping charge may be refunded for a late delivery. Continental U.S.A. deliveries only. Online tracking available. Shipping Cost Shipping Cost is automatically calculated online in your shipping cart while ordering. Hobbylinc.com insures our own packages Speeds up resolution of any problems with your order. The insurance option is NOT the same as provided through the shipping carrier (UPS, USPS, FedEx, etc..), as it provides much more coverage than simply the loss or damage of a package. The insurance option will cover the following: Lost Packages : We will provide a refund or reshipment (for domestic orders) if your package is lost by the carrier. This requires confirmation from the carrier that the package is lost. We must wait for the confirmation before we are able to provide a refund or reshipment. With UPS and FedEx this usually takes one to three business days. USPS requires 14 business days to attempt delivery on priority mail shipments and 30 business days to attempt delivery on 3rd. class mail. (i.e. a delivered status of 'delivered' provided by the carrier will void this insurance) Undeliverable Packages : We will reship, for free, any packages in which the customer incorrectly enters the thier address causing the package to be returned to us. (Yes, this happens.. a lot). Please verify your information that you enter online to avoid delivery delays. Defective or Damaged Items : We will send replacements for damaged items free of charge. We will only send replacements for damaged items within 7 business days of delivery. Please make sure to check your items when they arrive. This might require the return of the damaged item before replacement is sent. If the insurance option is selected we will pay for the return shipping via USPS or UPS ground mail. (returns require approval by Hobbylinc.com) Missing Parts / Defective Parts : Most maufacturers want to deal directly with the end consumer when dealing with missing or defective parts. Individual parts are not available for us to purchase. You will need to contact the manufacuerer to recieve replacements. In the rare case that the manufacturer does not take care of your problem we will send any parts that are missing or defective. Please note that this is a one time offer. Before requesting any new missing or damaged parts make sure to check all other parts so that we can take care of any issues at the same time. International orders MUST be placed on the website. Make sure to change the Shipping Destination to Outside of USA Instructions will appear in your shopping cart of how to estimate shipping charges. International orders must be at least $30.00. If your country does not appear in the list of countries when you enter your credit card address, then we do not ship to your country. Some items (paint, rocket motors, excesively large items, etc.) cannot ship internationally. If you attempt to order these items you will not be able to select Outside of USA as a shipping destination. When finalizing your order, on the first page where you enter your email address, make sure to select the shipping destination of Outside of USA. This is required so an internation address form will appear when you are to enter your address. Credit Card VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, and Discover cards are accepted for international orders. The credit card billing address must be supplied for verification. The order will ship only to the credit card billing address. We apologize for any inconvenience, but there is too much international credit card fraud, so we will only ship to the billing address. PayPal PayPal is NOT accepted for international orders. Check / Money Order Checks and Money Orders are NOT accepted for international orders. Wire Transfer Wire Transfers are NOT accepted for international orders. International Priority Mail Service provided by the U.S. Postal Service. Online tracking is not available. Local delivery is typically done by the recipients' country's government mail delivery system. Delivery time is much slower than with the Express Mail option. Cost is lower than with the Express Mail option. International Express Mail Service provided by the U.S. Postal Service. Online tracking is not available. Delivery time is much faster than with the Priority Mail option. Cost is higher than with the Priority Mail option. All International Orders are Insured Covers loss of the package during shipping. Covers damage to the package during shipping. Other issues (missing parts, mis-shipped items, etc.) are handled through the Hobbylinc.com Returns Department. How our backordered system works Hobbylinc does not charge for any item until the item is shipped to you, unless the order was paid for with PayPal (i.e. we already have received the funds for the order). Available items are reserved for you and set aside in a special warehouse inventory until your order is ready to ship. When order items online that are known to be out-of-stock, these items will be placed on backorder. Backorders may be canceled up to the day they are shipped. PayPal orders will receive a PayPal refund of any unused balance. Credit card orders have not been charged yet for the backordered items, so no refund is necessary. If, after placing your order online, Hobbylinc encounters an enexpected stock availability issue you will be notified via email of the issue. Your options on how you would like us to proceed are presented in your Online Order Status. If you chose here to backorder all, or part, of your order then your order will be entered into the Hobbylinc backorder system. Why keep backorders with Hobbylinc? Hobbylinc has a sophisticated backordering system that ensures your backorder will ship quickly once a backordered item arrives. You are assured of a first-come, first-serve, stock allocation upon the availability of the item on backorder. Backordering with Hobbylinc will make sure that you get the item you want and you'll be one of the first to receive it. Hobbylinc.com also provides bi-weekly emails with any change in information concerning your backordered item(s). How do I check my backorders with Hobbylinc? If you have backordered items with hobby link you can check the status of these items by simply using the online Order Status. You may also simply locate the items that you have on backorder online and the line listing will show the expected availability date of the item(s) that you have on backorder. Hobbylinc has more than 60,000 items in stock, so it's a good bet that well have the items you are looking for. Unfortunately, we have no control over manufactures production schedule. We can only pass on the information that is provided to us. Please use the backorder availability dates as a guideline only. These dates do change often. All items carried by Hobbylinc.com are listed online. If you know of a product, but it not listed on our website, then we do not carry that product. We cannot special order products. Product Availability Online Availability is updated every day. This is the latest information that we have from the manufacturer concerning the items. An Online Availability which has an arrival date of Unknown, means that the manufacturer has not yet provided us with an estimated date this item may be in stock again. Once the manufacturer lets us know a restock date, we will update the website within 24 hours. An Online Availability of No Longer Manufactured, very limited supply, means that Hobbylinc.com no longer carries this product, but we do have one or two leftover for purchase. An Online Availability of Discontinued, no longer available for purchase, means that Hobbylinc.com no longer carries this product, and have none leftover for purchase. Product Quantities Normally, we have stock to fill all orders. In the case that we do not have enough quantity to fill the order, we will email you concerning the problem and request your feedback on how you would like to proceed. For quantities higher than 20, you may email us the item number and we can check availability for you. We are constantly updating Hobbylinc.com with product information as it becomes available. Return shipping in non-refundable, unless the return is a result of a Hobbylinc.com error. Please note that we only able to exchange an item or provide a refund of the product cost.
