"Great Price"

I have been looking for an inexpensive, good quality airbrush compressor for a long time. Most airbrush compressors do not include a reservoir tank only the compressor at a higher price. The tank prevents pulsing air through your airbrush, giving you a better finish, and prevents the compressor from running constantly. This is not a quiet compressor nor is it loud. It automatically shuts off when it reaches 50 psi. A regulator, air gauge, and water trap are included. A 1/4 inch air hose fitting is needed for the compressor end. Make sure you get a 1/4 and 1/8 size air hose. I just received the air compressor so I can not speak to its longevity. The only minor flaw I have noticed is a few rough spots on the tank paint job. Not a big deal really, but it prevents me from giving this compressor a perfect score. I would recommend this compressor.

"Gets the job done, for a fantastic price"

The compressor is very quiet; I am able to have conversations while it's running. The motor runs to fill the tank to 53 PSI, and then stops, coming back on at 37 PSI. Having a tank is nice; once the tank is full, the compressor stops running, saving on noise and heat. The tank also acts as a first-line moisture trap. The motor should never overheat, since there's also an auto-stop for when things get too hot. There is a purge valve to empty the tank when you're done. More importantly, there is a regulator to precisely adjust the working pressure and a moisture trap to keep from spraying water with your paint. It's probably a good idea to buy a second moisture trap to put on the airbrush end of your hose, especially if you live in a humid climate. The picture on the box showed a double airbrush stand attached to the moisture trap, but this seemed to be missing from my box. My compressor also came with a basic double-action airbrush and a hose, I'm not sure if that's standard or not. Like with most compressors, it is a good idea to pick up a roll of Teflon tape from the plumbing supply to seal the fittings. The included hose fits great with a hand-tighten, but I had to use a crescent wrench to attach my Badger hose.
