Sprue Nipper

I bought these to replace a pair of Tamiya nippers that came in a 'modeller's kit' with a file, screwdrivers, knife, etc. These do not cut as crisply as those did. They also are larger, making it more difficult to get into tight spaces on sprue to disconnect pieces. That said, they do work and have kept their sharp cutting edge across a couple of models. They seem well made. The thick handle padding is also appreciated. The price was also far less than it would have been to re-order the Tamiya set with the nippers!

I finally got around to getting some sprue cutters because they seemed to be a better alternative to cutting parts with my Xacto. Glad I did.

I was tired of my dull hobby knife cutting deep into important parts by mistake, so I bought the most affordable sprue cutters on the market. These are a huge help in scale modeling. Good price too.
