"Nice Red Max,er,Goblin,er,Li'l Grunt!"

This was an easy, fast build. The large streamer comes with a metal grommet attached for durability. I like the bulletholes decals- a humorous touch. Standing next to my Estes Der Red Max and my Semroc Goblin, they look like they come from the same family. Will upload a picture soon.

"A nice-flying Quest kit"
ddeanb1962
Although the Lil' Grunt is listed as a level 3 kit, it builds more like a level 1. I assume the level 3 rating is because the Grunt flies on D motors. Overall, the quality of the kit is very good. My main complaint is with the decals - they are of the peel-and-stick variety and the material is very thick. This makes them harder to blend in with the finish than would waterslide decals. The 3/16 launch lug supplied with the kit is pretty tight on the launch rods I've tried, but I've flown it on 1/8 rods with no problems. The Grunt flies great on C11-3 and D12-5 motors with very little weather-cocking. I'm very pleased with the overall look of the Grunt, and I'm looking forward more flights.
