In towns large or small, the bank remains one of the most important (and the most common) buildings. Until now, adding one to your layout meant long hours with a difficult kit, or weeks of scratchbuilding.
Bailey Savings & Loan features authentic Beaux Arts (Fine Arts) styling which used ornamental columns, arches and cut stone to project an image of power and strength. (Many libraries and city halls were constructed in this style as well.) Ideal for any business district from the 1900s to the present day, buildings like this were common downtown and in the suburbs.
This kit features highly detailed plastic walls which looks just like cut stone and the front includes columns. Bank and library decals are included.

Nice big kit perfect for a city on your layout. The building is easy to put together and molded with crisp details. The kit doesn't come with an interior, but one could easily be put in it.

What a GREAT kit...Used for 2 different Bank buildings so far ....as always fast ship and excellent packaging.

I brought this kit a few weeks ago. After opening the kit to inspect, there was virtually no molding flash, all the parts where straight, and accounted for. This was a very basic kit and the directions were very clear and easy to follow. This kit was molded in a sandy brown color instead of the gray color that appears on the package. This made the building appear more modern and stylist to me. I painted the columns and the upper row of large bricks brown to add some color and uniqueness to the project. The building took the paint well and the kit provided several labels in black and gold to help make it my own. The only thing I would add to this kit is some roof accessory. Overall this was a great project for any skill level and would be a welcome building for any scenery.
