This is a very rare model for a very rare aircraft. The Soviet Union only built 198 of these Interceptors. They were in service between 1964 and 1990 and had a maximum ceiling of 96,342 Ft. The TU-128 Fiddler was one of the fastest aircraft Interceptors of its day considering its size. It was capable of 1,035 miles per hour. The kit has a lot of flare (excess plastic). It measures 16.5 inches long, 9.5 inches wide and 3.9 inches high. This Interceptor was as large as many bombers that it was designed to destroy. The kit is not for the novice modeler. It's worth having though since it's such a rare aircraft.
