"Enjoyable kit"

I really like this kit even tho it's a no frills kit. There is almost no molding flash at all, just required some light sanding. I did has one large sink hole in the frame so it needed some filler but it was in a place you really don't see but it was a personal thing. Fit was excellent and the instructions were well done. I used Model Masters green metallic for the body and Testors white for the top and side insert. I painted the interior White with green inserts. I used Bare metal foil and if I wasn't a pro using it I am now. I would recommend this kit to all builders.

"Nice kit with some errors"

While there are several options like the Continental kit and lots of detail, I have to say I found a number of errors in the directions. Many parts had wrong numbers and/or numbers that were not found in the parts. I spent a lot of time figuring out what part I was actually supposed to use when the numbers didn't match. Also, the directions are very sparse. The pictures are hard to figure out as to what goes just where. I ended up removing and regluing several parts. Overall it is a good kit, but not for a beginner.

This is the average AMT luxury car kit, no choices other than stock. I couldn't help myself so I built a drag version! (see pics) the front axle is 56 ford, the rear 67 Chevelle, 57 Fairlane decals. The kit comes with a ton of nice trim complete with Continental kit, didn't glue it on so I can switch back and forth. as you can see from other modellers pics (nicely done)the kit build into a real nice rendering of the ugly old Edsel! I enjoy seeing all skill levels of modellers work,(we all were begginers at some point, keep submitting those photos! Happy Modeling!

Instructions were good. Lots of chrome. Did mine white with red accents. Did the continental spare option. For any modelling skill level.
