1969 Ford F100 Custom Cab Truck w/ Short Bed (Ltd Prod)

I heard a joke about Tamiya kits that I think applies here. If you were to cut all the parts from the trees and place them in a bag and squirt some glue in and shake thoroughly you would have a perfectly built kit. The Moebius kits go together extremely well. As usual you get a nice set of instructions that have both pictograms and written instructions on assembly. There’s also paint chips of the factory colors and color pictures of the completed model to assist you in your detailing. This kit did not have the typical tight fitting windshield and snapped right in. There was almost zero flash and everything fit perfectly with the exception of the firewall which had to remove to get the hood to fit properly. I was never able to trace the exact cause so I don’t know if it was the kit or something I did. The decals were very high quality and went on perfectly. The. Straight six engine and engine bay is a work of art all by itself. Overall this was a great kit and very enjoyable to build, I have a couple more Moebius trucks waiting to get built.
