"Fun and pretty accurate."

This was a fun kit to build. Fairly accurate and not a lot of fitment issues. I did replace the 289 with a 390 from an other kit with no major modifications needed. Other then that, the rest of the kit went together pretty easily. Easy to follow instructions and fairly accurately detailed. All in all, a fun model to build.

This is a pretty fun kit to build with very few issues encountered, some flash but no big deal. Unfortunately the Mustang decal for the trunk lid doesn't show up on most colors. AMT supplies awesome pad printed tires but I sure wish they would make them fit the wheels snugged. I did not cut the inner trunk lid off as stated in the directions, the outer lid fits fine on top of it. Also directions state to glue rear body panel on at final assembly, I glued my panel on before paint without any issue of mating chassis and body in the final assembly. I'm not sure but it must of helped to cut about 1/4 inch of firewall off on both ends and cut the front of the door panels off flush with the dash.
