"nice build"

Kid has good detail engine and interior. Some flashing that needed sanding and just a little twist in the radiator area that needed the rubber band adjustment. make sure to follow the painting suggestions because some parts need to be assembled before painting. Found out the hard way. pro's went together easy with some good detail. con's the twisted front end.

"Excellent kit"
I have been working on this for awhile - No flash to speak of but I had a couple of nasty pin release marks to deal with on the interior but sanding cleaned it up. This model is screaming to be detailed. The Instructions are very clear. I went hog wild on the engine detailing and brake and chassis photo etched parts really makes the difference. I went pro-street with this kit. The kit comes with a Big Block Chevy 454 that I added wires/cables/hoses to. The parts fit was great no real problems. I painted it Testors Black exterior and a Red and Black interior. I would recommend this kit to all level of builders.

The 1970 Monte Carlo was the first Personal Luxury car from Chevy. the kit made a nice stock version.but I had a hard time getting the body all the way down on the front of the chassis, of course this could have been because of my own misalignment. but the model ended up a little high in the front.Otherwise a nice kit. I painted mine Metalflake Lime Gold, which kind of looks like a correct GM color for that year.

Great kit, parts fit well. Love this style rally wheels too, car makes an awesome build.

Due to small parts that could cause a choking hazard please kee away from children 3 years of age and younger.
