"Really nice kit."

This is a well designed kit from AMT. It has separate door panels, and a separate frame. Instead of an interior tub, the interior pieces attach to the floor pan, then the frame attaches to the bottom. The chrome tree is really nice , with great looking Chevy Rally's. There are also some nice detail pieces to add to the engine. I really enjoyed building this one, and highly recommend it.

"Good kit"

Good looking kit. The wheels engine and interior are all well done, but upon final assembly it was difficult to put it all together. I tried really hard to get the ride height correct, but the car was sitting high with everything I did. Overall it looks good.

The 1970 Monte Carlo was the first Personal Luxury car from Chevy. the kit made a nice stock version.but I had a hard time getting the body all the way down on the front of the chassis, of course this could have been because of my own misalignment. but the model ended up a little high in the front.Otherwise a nice kit. I painted mine Metalflake Lime Gold, which kind of looks like a correct GM color for that year.
