"Great Kit!!"

I have just started on this car, it is a great kit and the assembly is very straightforward. The instructions are well illustrated however, I would have the steps be a tad more detailed and, I would also include a parts layout diagram. Otherwise, this is an awesome kit. This is a fall together type of kit. There is work required on the kit however, this is still a quality kit for modelers of all skill levels. I will be finishing mine in a dark red color scheme.

"Really nice kit."

This is a well designed kit from AMT. It has separate door panels, and a separate frame. Instead of an interior tub, the interior pieces attach to the floor pan, then the frame attaches to the bottom. The chrome tree is really nice , with great looking Chevy Rally's. There are also some nice detail pieces to add to the engine. I really enjoyed building this one, and highly recommend it.

"Classic Monte Carlo"

The 1970 Monte Carlo was the first Personal Luxury car from Chevy. the kit made a nice stock version.but I had a hard time getting the body all the way down on the front of the chassis, of course this could have been because of my own misalignment. but the model ended up a little high in the front.Otherwise a nice kit. I painted mine Metalflake Lime Gold, which kind of looks like a correct GM color for that year.
