Great box art, I haven't put anything like this together since I was a kid.

"Fine details come through"

The pieces went together very well. No wrong way to paint the model. The details on this model are well defined; such as, the hair, teeth and fingernails. Very few pieces to this kit. Overall size would have been nice before purchase. Makes for an excellent cartoonish display.

"Love this model"

I love this model kit. It was easy to put together. Not a lot of flash to clean up and the seams were, for the most part, tight. A little putty here and there and it was perfect. I've started painting and am going wild with the colors. I think it's going to come out great.

"Ed Big Daddy Roth's Monster in Car Series"

I very fondly remember these Ed Big Daddy Roth kits from when I was a kid in the '60s and his Rat Fink creations were so popular. So I guess he cut a deal with Revell and designed some of these monters in cars kits along with his Rat Fink series of figures. When I started building again about 12 years back I picked up as many as I could find and this was one. I actually just finished this kit earlier this month in a Rat Fink craze. The quality is typical of these figures from the '60s using older technology but more than sufficient to get what you want. It is a simple kit but can be made to look great when completed. I spent extra effort on the car and used Molotow chrome airbrushed on along with Tamiya spray lacquer. For Mt. Gasser himself it was acrylics airbrushed and for detailing by hand. If you like the Big Daddy creations it is a great one to pick up.
