Authentic (made from plans and photographs of actual 19th century US church)
Requires no painting
Assembly instructions and exploded diagram provided
Roof assembly will use (15) screws (these are provided)
The main church building is constructed of Blue wood siding, with a peaked roof complete with trim. The decorative corner posts are White (square at
the bottom and pointed at the top), the entry way features double
decorative White doors with gable style trim. The church has a tower,
belfry, and spire. Fantastic decorative window trim and detailing.

"Nice kit, horrible instructions."

This is a very nice model but the instructions are lacking. The roof supports need to be placed in a certain direction, but this is not illustrated in the instructions. Because of this, I had to purchase a second kit due to the roof being damaged in the removal process. The drawings in the instructions are done in exploded view format instead of a drawing for each step. Some of the parts in the drawings are different than the actual parts which makes things confusing. Next time I will look elsewhere instead of spending near $100 to assemble 1 building.

"Charming Small Church"

I bought this church because it reminded me of small rural one near where I live. The kit quality was much more than I expected, which is saying a lot given typical Atlas quality! The kit is extremely well engineered and goes together superbly. Though the kit represents smaller church, it does have a fairly large footprint. It captures the charm of a smaller church and does not seem to have any compression. Anyone looking to add a modest sized church to their layout would do well by purchasing this kit.
