These are great for cleaning up parts before paint and to take off high spots for flush fitment. Good size for small detail pieces

This is a nice mini file set, that has come in handy for getting into those tight/narrow areas. If doing light filing, gripping them by the handles works fine, but if doing more pressured filing is called for, then you should logically choke-up on your grip appropriately, even pressing down on the top surface of the file with an index finger, to prevent breakage. After all, they are tiny and thin, meant for those more precise/delicate tasks. They are of good quality, and I would recommend a set for anyone's modeling tools.
