Description This is a 1/16 Plastic 1931 Ford Model A Sedan made by Minicraft Model Kits. It's a skill level 3 model for ages 12 and up. Facts In late 1927, the nineteen-year production run of the Model T was concluded. This historical event was the end of the first people's car. Although today, the styling of the Model A looks similar to the Model T, it was a completely different car, which at the time, had considerably more eye appeal. The new and much more advanced engine was still a four-cylinder design and was fitted with a conventional clutch and four-speed gear box. By the end of 1931, over five million Model A's had been produced and Ford was busy working on a revolutionary V-8 engine to compete with their rival's six- cylinder models.
