British L.R.D.G. Command Car w/Breda 20mm

This would be a good kit for a beginner. Not too difficult in assembly, good fit for the most part, nice decals. The only minor problem I encountered was the fit of the trailer hitch and the gun. The hole in the gun hitch needs to be increased in size so it will slide onto the truck hitch.The detail of the supplied figures is poor in my estimation so I substituted some British walkers from another Tamiya kit. Overall I liked the kit a lot and was a fun build. Finished model is posted in the picture section.

My model was from an older release and worked out just as well and added to a desert scene was perfect! I built the kit straight from the box and added a BREN gun to the rear firing position along with the German 20mm cannon inside the truck bed. The kit is full of detailing possibilities and the list of items to add is almost as much as you could store in the rear bed without crowding out the gunner crewman. It is a welcome addition to any British model collection.
