"Initial Harrier review"

This is an awesome, extremely detailed and thorough model. Tons of options for ordnance. Sidewinders, AMRAAMS, bombs, Mavericks and others. Includes a Lantirn Pod. As in my other reviews, the sprue plastic is thick and strong and you need snips to remove the pieces. The down side is the box is really small and barely fits the entire model in there. Couldn't figure out how to get it back in when I took everything out. There are photoetched parts and rubber tires. Great model!!

Very good but not great. Fit of the parts is excellent, and breakdown thereof makes for easier painting. HOWEVER, as has been mentioned in other places on the web, the ordnance is borderline unacceptable for a kit of this price. Racks are wrong, shapes of bombs, tanks and missiles are way off. I wonâ€™t even go into how screwy the gun pack is. But I would recommend this kit to a builder who is willing to either do the mods to the incorrect ordnance or seek aftermarket help.
