this is not a bad price as it is very good kit. nicely detailed and goes together well. it is rather large and will require a good work space and a bit of shelf area. I have built 2 and will build another given the chance

"Best Budget Minded 1/32 F4"

As with a lot of my reviews I always take into consideration the price of the item in question. This reissue by Revell is a welcome option for the budget minded 1/32 scale modeler. The panel lines are recessed although kinda shallow so be careful with your primer or be ready to scribe them. The same goes for the rivets. If you read reviews online, you'll see complaints about basic detail and especially the nose cone geometry.... Really?... If those details bug you then sell your 1st born and get a Tamiya or research some resin replacements which are all over the place. I believe the detail is quite nice and very upscale for a Revell release. Straight out of the box this is a very impressive model and I highly recommend it. The price can't be beat.

This is a 90's era mold, with nice update of a popular version. The details are finely scribed, and the raised detail isn't terrible. It could use some intake trunks, though. All in all, this is a big project, and requires shelf space. Definitely a winner

"f4 phantom"

This kit came with 2 sets of rear wings. The one with leading edge slats is molded wrong. The wings would point upward instead of downward. Had to use the ones without slats. Bad mistake.
