US Marine Corps Iraq 2003 Figure Set (4)

The set features 4 soldiers with good detailed molding. There was little to no flash and only seam lines that needed to be cleaned up. The weapons are very nicely detailed. The color call outs on the box are limited compared to other figure brands.

Trumpeter figures tend to be hit or miss. This one of Trumpeter's better figure sets of that particular time...2004 according to Scalemates. It shares some of the exaggerated detail of other sets, but like their US Army in Iraq Set I think the added detail works, especially with the desert camo. This one is all stryrene...no vinyl torsos and no PE. This set has the feet and hands molded to the limbs, simplifying assembly. The set comes with an assortment of extras to flesh out each figure's kit. For the price, it;s a great deal.

Decent detail, good poses. They were easy to put together, some of the parts were small but not hard to figure out where to put them. They do have some minimal flashing. I would recommend this figure kit to anyone who is making a Iraq diorama.
