Building a ROAD BED

These risers correspond with the 4% incline starters. I have used 4 2 1 & 1/2 to create various grades & heights. I have completed everything except the custom job of filling in voids on turnouts. I will be building a structural hostile mountain terrain from cardboard. Get a clue from cardboard bottle dividers. They STAND ALONE

Woodland Scenics 1 riser model railroad foam (N scale)

This Woodland Scenics product comes in various sizes (3/4 up to 2), durable, and is excellent to create inclines, curves, and bring more to a layout. Reasonably priced and received quicker than anticipated. I was not able to find another manufacturer of a similar product.
