Every time I see this i think about the Mannix tv show. In a one episode he is on the beach chasing some one, he is in a beach buggy like this but it has no doors or sides. May try to build it. Very cool kit either way. Very little flash. Lots, and I mean lots of options with this kit.

love it , one of my tee vee dune buggy turned out to be a kat kit , one of twelve are molded in blue metallic plastic to make it more special for collectors , saved card and will post pictures when I start building it ...... didn't know they made any kat kits

The model is fairly small so it is a little difficult to work with. Since the engine is all chrome make sure you scrap glue joints so glue will work. Overall the kit is a good representation of real car. There is a sand or street tire version for the tires. There also is an option to run with a top or topless.
