"Guaranteed to turn anyone off to ship modeling."

I did not purchase this through Hobbylinc but the other reviewer is spot on. I got this for my 10 year old son & it was a challenge for me for all the same reasons stated in the other review. My favorite beginner wood ship kits are the Midwest products kits which are out of production but can be found on eBay.

"Bad purchase, missing parts"
Ajhall5136
It's much more complicated than a Beginner model. The directions are terrible, consisting of half a dozen 18x12 sheets of paper with virtually no written directions at all -- what there was were a handful of tips in multiple languages all jumbled up. Worse, it came missing several parts, and there's no website listed to see about replacements. I may end up having to try fabricating them from scraps of balsa I have floating around. Definitely do not recommend this unless you are an experienced wood model builder. This is not a good project to learn the hobby on.
