"Pola : for RN amateurs only"
This ship is not very elaborate. It is the only Pola model on the market to my knowing, which is why I built it. Molding isn't very accurate. Pros : - Only one on the market for RN Pola - Average level of difficulty - Low price Cons : - Molding not very good - lack of accuracy/details

"Nice model for the money"
I've been looking for 1/350 size battleship models that are reasonably priced. This kit is made in China.Examining the details of this model I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the molding. The detail is very nice without being too complex.I highly recommend this model for the beginner to the well seasoned modeler.

"Good for a returning beginner to build"
I just finished building this model, but sort of used a different color scheme as this was my first effort in about 20 plus years since my last building effort. I found it pretty darn good to build and enjoyed doing the painting, etc. The only parts problem I had was during the last section with the small boat divits as a couple of them broke in half, but overall a good model to build. Would build another ship from this company.

Ok! I give this kit a rating of average just based on the kit out of the box. BUT! I recommend this kit for both beginner and advanced builders, she is a very basic kit that looks ok for a beginner but offers a great challenge to the advanced builder. I have build this kit twice, the first was ok, but it always bothered me. So bought another and did some research on the ships. It had been about three years between my two ships Hobby Boss hasn’t changed the kit itself but they did update the color guide which turns out to be relatively accurate to what she looked like, there was a lot of scratch building involved this time around and I feel she came out a lot better. I completed her just in time to join her upcoming sisters. Some of you might question the red hull, I went back and forth with that for a time and did as much research on her as I could a lot of sources are torn as to the actual color so I picked red for this version.
