TG-3F Hobby Package w/Comp

Before receiving this as a Christmas present from my wife, I had only tried a simple Badger airbrush from local craft store with canned air. I wanted this to use for painting model rockets and possibly a plastic model. I have used the brush several times now and found it to be great so far. Easy to set up and clean. The compressor really makes a huge difference. With canned air you feel limited (like you need to conserve each puff) but the compressor gives you the freedom to blast away And that's what it's all about - blast away and practice, practice, practice I only wish I had more time to devote to it. Love the package and highly recommend.

I had never used an air brush before purchasing the TG-3F package. I spent an hour or so practicing on an old model and was amazed at how easy the air brush and compressor were to use. The adjustable pressure regulator on the compressor is very handy, allowing the air brush to be used very close to the model (at low pressure). I have now air brushed camo on two german tanks, and the results blew me away. The air brush gives a look that a paint brush cannot match. I was worried about cleaning the airbrush, and although it takes some time to do it properly, it cleaned up nicely and I had no problems the next time I used it. Overall, highly recommend.
