"my dream car"

when i ordered this model i knew right away i was going to go stock with it, there is no way i was going to raise it up like the box shows. i built this the way i would want a real one to look like. i painted it dark blue with silver racing stripes, it turned out awsome.........i wish i had the money for a real one. i submitted pics also.

I bought this to build it stock. I was kind of let down but as kits go it was a good kit. The molding is crisp and had very little clean up. There are some very cool options in the kit but building a stock cowl inducted Chevelle with a big block cant be done. The decal sheet does not come with stock stripes and only come with a custom designed one in an off white. The detail is good but the flash on the chrome was kind of heavy. The instruction sheet reads excellent and is easy to follow. I did detail the stock kit engine with wiring and hoses. While yes it is a very nice kit with great options it just cant be built as a stock Chevy Chevelle and that left me a little disappointed. The price on the kit is excellent for what your getting just don't expect to build a stock one. I would recommend this kit to all builders it really is a good kit.
