"hobby knife"
waynelyrice
this tool can be verry helpful in detialing my ship models i use it for cutting out decals so you dont accidenly cut decals in half with sisers or i cut out small parts with it so i dont break the part trying to twist it off this knife can also be helpfull in removing seams and extra plastic of parts.

"Good for the quick jobs."
e.coxe
I keep a small supply of three or four of these knives on hand for the quick jobs like trimming excess plastic off model parts, disconnecting parts from sprues, or just cleaning up pieces. I find this knife perfect for such jobs. Just remember that every time you use it you dull it. The razor edge only lasts so long, and then it's time to toss it and grab a new knife.

"Standard Knife Necessary"
Sauceman (Asheville, NC)
This is the standard knife at hobby shops across the U.S. I just bough my third, as its necessary and useful. If you want a model to look good, you need a knife to cut from the sprue. This is the cheapest, and won't dull for several months of daily usage.

Comments

Bending blade and/or knife handle may cause knife to break.
