The kit is of a DC-8-63, and is very nicely executed. The wingtips are separate so a shorter winged DC-8 (-10 series to -61 series) or a -62 with the longer wing can also be done with the fuselage marked to cut it shorter for the -62 or even shorter for the -10 to -50 series. The kit lacks cabin windows in the plastic (decal windows are used) and the wing leading edges are a little bit too thick resulting in a Clubby look, but the panel outlines are nicely done and a very realistic replica of a DC-8 can be built from this kit. In order to build the early DC-8 (-10 to -61) versions though, you'll need aftermarket engines.
